The Continuum team has been further strengthened in the North East.
Experienced Financial Adviser Jason Maddison is the latest member to join Continuum’s North East team. Jason has worked in financial services for more than 10 years and is looking forward to providing the full range of financial advice to an even wider range of clients.
“Having done a variety of roles in financial services, one of my main priorities in each role is having the opportunity to help people. Being able to guide people and help clients meet their personal and financial goals is something I take great pleasure in – being able to do that with the support of Continuum is the perfect next step for me, and for the clients I work with.”
Jason has some impressive qualifications which will be especially valuable in his new role with Continuum.
He holds the Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) as the basis for his career as an adviser. But just as important is his Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP).
“Being able to help people in additional areas of financial advice is really important to me. It’s not just about pensions & investments. Key areas such as mortgages & protection can create the foundation of a financial plan so it’s important to be able to advise in as many aspects of financial planning as possible.”
Jason is a keen sportsman, and enjoys playing football and golf, and is determined to compete in an Iron Man in 2024. But what made him join the Continuum team?
“Continuum is among the top financial advisory groups in the country, and it is a partnership of like-minded Financial Advisers sharing a common passion, approach and commitment to practicing true financial planning.
I made the decision to be independent, for the simple reason that it means more options for my clients – and ensures that I have more ways to help them. I needed to partner with a company that was independent, with no bias towards any products or providers. It was clear very early on that Continuum was the best choice.
Trusting someone to look after your financial steps now and in the future is a big deal and I believe Continuum will provide the appropriate foundations to allow me to deliver exemplary client service and create a plan that is suited to each client, no matter the circumstances. I will still be able to offer independent financial advice – which is essential for my clients and for my own professional satisfaction, but with Continuum I can call on an entirely new level of support. It means that I can help more people.”
“I always try to go the extra mile to simplify complicated scenarios and take the burden away from my clients so that they can concentrate on more important things in life. Continuum will help me do that.”
Continuum’s Managing Partner Martin Brown is delighted to welcome Jason.
“Jason can provide all-round expertise, which is important for all our clients, but he can also offer a real focus on pension and IHT planning. It’s clear that this is a growing area of importance in the current environment and Jason will continue to provide outstanding outcomes for his clients. His decision to join our business is an important addition to our strength in offering clients the best possible support.”
