The Continuum Team expands in London

โ€œAs an adviser for over ten years, Continuum is where I plan on spending my future.โ€

Award-winning advisory firm Continuum has welcomed a new Chartered Financial Advisor to the London arm of its nationwide team.

Stuart Anthony is based in London and looking forward to extending his already impressive record as an IFA, by helping new clients find better answers to their financial challenges with the support and resources of Continuum.

Stuart has been in the financial services industry for over ten years and holds a degree in European Financial Management and French. He is also a keen international traveller, having visited more than 40 countries across the world.

โ€œHaving experience of other cultures and having seen how things work in other countries helps me to work with people from all kinds of backgrounds โ€“ which can be a big plus in a cosmopolitan city like London.โ€

What helped Stuart make the decision to join the Continuum team?

โ€œThere will always be a need for expert financial advice to be personal, for the simple reason that every client has their own individual needs. But I think there is a growing need for that service to be provided by professionals who can call on an established support network.

Continuum is in the top 1% of IFA firms, holds an ESG kitemark and is independent, meaning that they can provide excellent support. Because of this independent status, there is no restriction on the products I can research and recommend โ€“ clients can be better off in many ways because of it.โ€

Why is he making the move to Continuum now?

โ€œOver the years I've seen a lot of change from regulatory bodies. Keeping up with those changes is vital โ€“ and it is simpler when with a highly professional team; a great time to reflect, review and refresh!

With Continuum I have cutting edge solutions, access to the very latest products from across the industry โ€“ and engagement-enhancing facilities like the Online portal, Brand Loyalty Programme, and weekly education newsletters โ€“ all benefitting clients and supporting our relationship.โ€

Stuart also cites the changing needs of clients.

โ€œSince gaining my qualifications, Iโ€™ve been aware that the way individuals perceive the need for financial support is changing.

People are becoming more aware that their financial planning is central to all they do at every stage of life. It is vital for all businesses, as well as individuals, to be on top of their finances both now and in the future.

With more challenges in todayโ€™s world comes more solutions too, and as part of the Continuum team I am better placed to provide them. With a mantra of โ€˜Growing Stronger Togetherโ€™ the relationship between client, adviser and Continuum can be enhanced.โ€

Being free to enjoy life starts with having financial freedom and that takes both vision and expertise to achieve. My role is to provide the expertise to enable the client to achieve their vision.

Welcoming Stuart

Continuumโ€™s Managing Partner Martin Brown is keen to welcome Stuart to the team. โ€œThe London area is a challenge, with a huge variety of people and businesses. Stuart understands the challenges โ€“ and the importance of building partnerships with clients to understand what's really important, to build long lasting working relationships.

Plus of course, he shares our approach of putting clientsโ€™ needs first, whatever we do.โ€

A focus on professionals and retirees with their financial planning.

Stuart has extensive experience in delivering advice to professionals and business owners, and a focus on helping those already in โ€“ or heading for โ€“ retirement make the financial arrangements they need. specialising in areas including IHT mitigation, estate planning, tax planning and business protection.
This often involves working closely with other trusted professionals such as accountants, solicitors and tax advisors โ€“ but it always starts with getting to know the client.

โ€œI like to take clients through a process of discovery to clearly define planning objectives. Itโ€™s the foundation needed to develop a strategy covering immediate needs and long-term solutions. Right now, at a time of market optimism, itโ€™s an excellent opportunity to create a legacyโ€.

In addition, Stuart is keen to support charities and non-profit organisations through various pathways, including cash-management solutions. If you live or work in London, if you are interested in pensions or investments, please contact Stuart for a free initial consultation.
